Though, the
industrialists were ready for double the rental charge, the management’s
decision of the huge hike surprised them as the Industrial District Management
Ltd hiked the rental charge without consulting industrialists
Earlier, the Industrial
District Management Ltd had agreed to hike the rent by 15 per cent every two
years.
At a time, when the industrialists
have been suffering from various crisis including scheduled power cut, labour
dispute and political instability, the hike is going to increase their cost of
operation.
